Building In My BackYard

This was a project from first year in to architecture studies. The brief was to design a house with a carport for a small family on a tricky terrain. Which was located in a forrest and consisted of a slope and several trees.

Answering the terrain and placement of the trees I offer a loadbearing serpentine structure winding it self within the most difficult area of the terrain. I started with loodbaring poles because they capture the gesture of the trees. The wooden exterior makes the structure blend within its surrounding and the double gable roof is an hommage to the classic house archetype.
